About

Claire Tincher (b. 1996) was raised in the City of Atlanta, making frequent trips to Tate, where her family has a home in the North Georgia mountains. It was her time spent there, immersed in nature, that has inspired her work as an artist.  Claire is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design.  She received her BFA from SCAD  with a focus in Printmaking and a minor in Drawing. During her undergraduate degree, Claire received the 2021 Gene Arthur Alcott Award and has exhibited extensively at SCAD.  Claire currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, Brett, and her two dogs, Hector and Lola.
